How Can I Get Rid of Skin Texture Without Surgery?

The smoother the canvas is, the easier it will be for you to paint on it. This is why understanding how you can get rid of skin texture is key.

That’s a beautiful thing! We are naturally beautiful, yet the media constantly bombards us with the idea that we have to look like a Photoshopped model. Unfortunately, these feelings of inadequacy can lead some of us to get cosmetic surgery so we can feel beautiful again.

In this article, we’ll explore how to improve skin texture without ever getting surgery.

Prevention

Skin texture changes over time, so no matter how old you are, it’s never too late for prevention. What many don’t realize is that prevention consists of ridiculously simple practices.

For example, when we ask about how to improve skin texture, we might be thinking there are some grandiose secrets that we never thought of. Meanwhile, one of the most essential aspects of preventing poor skin texture is hydration! Literally, just drink a lot of water…all the time.

Another fantastic way to keep your skin’s texture firm and even is to use a cleanse your skin using a toner such as the ROCK CRYSTAL Multi Action Toner. Apply some sunscreen before going out into the sun, and you’ve got yourself a pretty solid regimen that many people miss!

Exfoliation

Enlarged pores and fine lines are among the most significant culprits of poor skin texture. You can solve this problem by simply doing an exfoliation twice a week. ROCK CRYSTAL Micro Polish Cleanser is a fantastic choice if you’re looking gentle, yet effective exfoliation.

Exfoliation allows your skin to shed dead skin cells, which promotes cell turnover and hydration. Ultimately, this reveals fresh, healthy, glowing skin.

Luxury Serums

If you know which facial creams and serums to use, you are more than capable of keeping your skin supple. This is especially true when you use luxury serums such as the GOLD 24K Gold Facial Perfecting Serum.

This serum contains pure gold, Matrixyl 3000, and a cutting-edge anti-wrinkle and firming substance known as peptide. There’s nothing like it in the world, and if you’re trying to figure out how to improve skin texture without ever getting surgery, you’re in exactly the right place.

Is Luxury Skincare Worth it?

When luxury skincare comes into the picture, it flips our whole perspective upside down. Our first thought might be, “why would anyone spend that much on skincare?”.

Finding the right skincare product can be like trying to find your soulmate. It takes a lot of trial and error as well as an open mind. Now that we have more options than ever, it’s even harder to make a decision.

In this post, we’ll tell you 3 reasons you need luxury skincare in your life.

High-Quality Ingredients

What’s the first thing you do when you purchase food? Many of us start by checking the ingredients. For example, you may want to make sure you’re getting 100% orange juice as opposed to an artificially flavored drink with orange flavoring and a ton of high fructose corn syrup.

The same applies to skincare. It’s true that there are a lot of different options, but there aren’t too many that contain truly high-quality ingredients. For example, the Diamond Anti-Gravity Magnetic Mask uses pure diamond powder to bring you an experience like no other in the world.

However, luxury skincare is not just about how “rich” an ingredient sounds, what’s more important is what kind of effects the ingredient can have. For example, diamonds have the ability to lift and firm your skin, provide excellent exfoliation results, and lock in moisture. Check out this review of some Kristals luxury skincare products.

It Feels Good on Your Skin

This might sound obvious, but very few people know what it feels like to apply 24k gold to their skin. It’s magical. Pure gold triggers a profound receptivity in the skin cells that you have to feel to believe.

Another important point about luxury skincare is that you are far less likely to cause itching, irritation or redness of any kind. Rather, it’s soothing, moisturizing, and unforgettable.

Dramatic Results

The proof is in the pudding. This is where luxury skincare triumphs over any other kind of skincare. True luxury skincare products are able to provide you with dramatic results if they’re used consistently. Not all luxury skincare products are created equal, but if you’re reading this, you’re already on the right path.

You could scour the earth for reviews, opinions, and perspectives on luxury skincare. But the truth is, you don’t know until you try!

At Kristals, we promote a lifestyle that combines spirituality with holistic skincare using gems like diamonds, gold, and sapphire. The result? Youthful radiance and balanced spiritual energy.

How Can I Look younger With Makeup?

Wish you could turn back the clock and make your face look 10 years younger? Well, you might not be able to turn back the clock, but you can look younger with makeup in just a few minutes.

Tricks to Look Younger With Makeup

#1 Warm Makeup

Experts all agree that using a foundation, which is a bit more yellowish warms up the skin. We’re not talking screaming yellow, just something with hint of yellow. The reason? The warmer you skin looks, the younger it will look. Lighter is always going to look younger. Avoid neutral, tan or brown tones.

#2 Click Pen Concealer

Stay away from a heavy concealer. The best concealer for aging eyes is one that is lightweight. Also, stay away from cream concealers and instead use one in the click pen form

#3 Skip the Powder

While most of us believe its best to use powder to set makeup, it actually magnifies wrinkles and lines in the skin. If you can’t give up powder, try switching to a sheer translucent powder or a mineral-based one, which illuminates and brightens the skin.

#4 Make Your Eyes Look Bigger

Eyes that look bigger, look younger. Make sure to curl eyelashes, then use the blackest black mascara to make your eyes look big and bright. A shimmery, light color eye shadow makes eyes look brighter, and don’t forget light highlights just below the brow.

#5 Make Your Lips Look Fuller

Using a clear lip gloss in the middle of both of your lips makes them look fuller. The shimmer in the gloss picks up light to boost the idea of a plump pout.

#6 Make Yourself Blush

Swipe a flush of bright pink on the cheeks. Make sure to use bright colors. A healthy flush on the cheeks makes even a tired face look refreshed.

What’s the Most Effective Way to Fight Cellulite?

So you’re wondering if there is actually an effective way to fight cellulite, aren’t you? When it comes to those dreaded lumpy, bumpy, dimply areas of skin (a.k.a. orange skin), are you feeling hopeless? As women, if there’s something that quickly jumps to the top of our minds when planning a trip to the beach or wearing shorts is cellulite. But before you panic, there’s small steps you can take every day to treat, smooth out and disguise cellulite. Here are 5 secret weapons that will help you do it.

Looking for An Effective Way to Fight Cellulite?  Here are 4:

#1  Massage, Massage, Massage

You really don’t need extremely vigorous massages for results. Any type of massage that you enjoy and helps increase your blood flow on that problem area, will do the trick. Rubbing the skin in that area will also help break down the fat causing that bumpy appearance. The key is simply being consistent. If you’re on a tight budget, you don’t even need to pay for a professional massage, just do it yourself at home every night!  But, if you’re willing to spend a little bit more to get rid of cellulite, we suggest you go ahead and get a cellulite reduction massage.

#2 Exfoliation and Dry Brushing

Another secret weapon is periodic exfoliation. Yes, besides removing dead skin cells and smoothing out your skin, body scrubs can help you fight cellulite.

The next secret weapon to control cellulite, is actually quite a new trend: Dry Brushing. We’re not going to pretend it doesn’t sounds a bit crazy, but just like other exfoliation methods, it promises to accelerate skin cells renewal process revealing a much firmer skin and increasing blood circulation. The secret to correct dry brushing is using a dry, not wet, brush with natural bristles over your dry skin and always brushing towards your heart for optimal lymph flow. Make sure you don’t stay on the area more than 5-10 minutes to avoid irritating your skin.

#3 Hydration

Another weapon that will help increase lymph flow and reduce cellulite is drinking plenty of fluids. At least 8 glasses of pure water per day. Stay away from carbonated beverages that will do you more harm than good, and usually contain large amounts of sodium. Hydrated skin cells reduce the look of areas affected by cellulite.

#4 Self Tanner

While you’re treating cellulite, there’s nothing wrong with disguising it a little bit, to boost our confidence. Did you notice the paler your skin gets the more noticeable cellulite seems to be? But before you damage your skin with UV rays just to get a bit more color, go with a much healthier choice:  self tanner.

How Should I Apply Bronzer?

When you want to add a little color without the harmful effects of the sun, then you know that bronzer can be your best friend. There’s a fine line between bronzer looking great or being a muddled mess. Here are our tips to apply bronzer.

6 Tips to Apply Bronzer

#1 Don’t Forget to Exfoliate

If you want the bronzer to look smooth, even and natural, then prepping your skin correctly before applying bronzer is step number one. Exfoliating once a week is a great way to remove dead cells and even out your skin for bronzer.

#2 Take Time on Picking the Bronzer

If there’s one mistake people make about bronzer, it’s choosing a color that’s too dark or overwhelms the skin. This might be one makeup purchase where’s it’s a good idea to head to the makeup counter for advice.

#3 Start with Prep Lotion

A prep lotion is an important step in evening out the skin before applying bronzer. It also allows the bronzer to look more balanced once it’s applied and help it last longer.

#4 Choose the Right Foundation

Foundation is sometimes used under bronzer to enhance and deepen the look. But if you’re turning to the same foundation you always use, even without bronzer, then it’s not going to provide the results you desire. You’ll want a foundation that’s a shade darker to match the bronzer.

#5 Consider an Extender

Products called “bronzing tan extenders” are available to make your bronzer look better and last longer.

#6 Buy a Brush

If you want the most even, natural looking results from your bronzer, then applying it with a brush is the way to go. They sell dedicated bronzer brushes, although blush brushes seem to work equally well.

Which Are The Foundation Mistakes To Avoid?

It’s  the most important step of all, as it’s the one that gets the rest of your makeup off on the right foot. Many of us make critical mistakes when laying on this base layer. Here’s our list of the foundation mistakes we should avoid:

4 Foundation Mistakes To Avoid

#1 Using the Wrong Tools

Many women opt for that little triangle-shaped sponge or even their fingers when it’s time to apply foundation. However, investing some money in a good foundation brush is really the way to go. Both the sponge and your fingers tend to be too heavy-handed and not subtle with the foundation that goes on your face. A lighter touch from a good brush is a better solution.

#2 Applying It All over the Face

Contrary to popular belief, your entire face does not need to be a mask of foundation that acts as the base layer for all makeup. Rather, it’s really intended to tone down problem area around the eyes, chin, nose and cheeks. Keep that in mind as you reach for the foundation brush.

#3 Going Too Light

Yes, foundation should be a good match to the skin so that it looks as natural as possible. But one small click darker can often be a good idea and still create a beautiful, natural look. The touch of tone is better at hiding blemishes and smoothing out other problem areas in a very subtle way.

#4 Using Powder Foundation

Powder may work for some makeup, but really a liquid foundation is the way to go for smoothing and evening out the entire face. Powder makeup can be drying and even highlight wrinkles if it collects within them.

How Can I Cure My Acne With Gemstones?

Today we’re going to answer the question so many have been asking us: How Can I Cure My Acne With Gemstones?  Acne can be quite a challenge. First there’s the horror of a breakout as an adult, and then there’s the struggle to conceal it or to clear it up fast.

Gemstones are a newer addition to the skincare scene, but certain gemstones have fantastic skin-calming properties that can often reduce the look of a breakout. Crystal healing is something you can easily add to your typical skincare routine.

Here’s How you Can Cure Acne With Gemstones…

Different gemstones have special effects, and there are a couple of stones that are particularly useful when it comes to battling acne issues. You can use skincare products infused with certain stones;  you can use the stones to massage affected skin, or even wash with a gemstone infused water.

Amethyst:

High in iron and negative ions, this popular purple gemstone is known to detoxify. Many believe that it fights bacteria and supports new skin cell growth. In terms of acne, this means that there could be an increase in the need for exfoliation, but new skin cells are healthier than the older cells and this will brighten your complexion.

Rhodonite:

This gemstone is said to lessen the possibility of scarring due to acne breakouts. Rhodonite is typically a combination of two colors: pink and brown. The mineral is known for its ability to lessen an individual’s stress levels and anxiety, which can lead to breakouts. Also, if you rub a flat, tumbled stone on the affected area, the magnesium inside is helpful in preventing scars from sores and pimples.

Moonstone:

Moonstone is known to balance hormones or lessen the impact of hormones, which often cause particularly stubborn acne. It is particularly helpful during times like puberty, menstrual cycles and menopause.

Can Gems Balance Energy Levels?

Feeling drained?  There may be a quick fix for that. Looks like gems balance energy levels in our bodies.

There’s a field of study called color psychology that dives into the effects that use of color can have in someone’s mood, or encourage behaviours (like buying items).  That’s because colors have energy. As a result, using color (and crystals associated with those energies too) can help you feel better.

Specific Colors and Gems Balance Energy

There are seven chakras, or energy centers, in the body, and different gemstones and colors may be associated with these chakras. Therefore, it’s not hard to use crystals and colors to improve the energy and feel of a home – that’s why decorators suggest painting the master bedroom in shades of blue, for calm and contentment.

First Chakra

First of all, let’s discuss the chakra at the base of the spine. Known as the root chakra, this energy center is associated with courage, self-awareness, and confidence. Red is a power color associated with this chakra. In addition, if you’re feeling doubt, adding a little red to your home, with garnet, or other stones, like hematite can boost the your mood.

Sacral Chakra

This orange chakra is at the lower abdomen. Balance this chakra using gemstones such as carnelian, amber, and orange fire agate. Amber is sometimes associated with sexuality and healing. It may also protect from negativity.

Solar Plexus Chakra

The solar plexus chakra is situated behind the navel, and is yellow. It is associated with vitality throughout the body, feelings of identity and power. Gemstones associated with this chakra include citrine and pyrite.

Heart Chakra

This one lies in the center of the chest. Its color is green, typically represents wealth, envy, and jealousy. Therefore, it symbolizes rebirth, growth and abundance. Emeralds represent love and abundance too.

Throat Chakra

The throat chakra is blue. It stands for emotional balance, and self-expression. IF you want to increase your concentration and emotional balance, it’s a great idea to use turquoise or aquamarine in your home.

Third Eye Chakra

The third eye chakra is indigo, a darker shade of blue. Between the eyebrows, it is the spiritual center of the body. If your third eye is blocked, you may be feeling a lack of perspective and issues with prioritizing your activities.

Crown Chakra

Last but not least, is the crown chakra. This chakra is violet and at the top of the head. Clarity and having a sense of one’s higher self often derive from a healthy crown chakra. Gemstones that can help you to amplify these feelings include amethyst, clear quartz, or diamond.

At Kristals, we believe in the power of colors and gemstones to help balance and improve moods and energies. We also believe that gemstones can bring beauty benefits, and that’s why we use powders, elixirs in our beauty products, to supercharge your energy and your beauty routine.

Can You Hydrate Skin With Gemstones?

You want glowing skin. Don’t we all? The key to that hydrated skin glow is ensuring moisture.  Every skin type needs it. There are a wide variety of tips out there to help you develop a routine to hydrate skin with gemstones.

Here are a few gemstones that are key to your healthy skin routine, including stones that will help with hydration.

Rose quartz

It helps to soothe the skin and encourage lymphatic drainage. This alleviates puffiness. In the right skincare formulation, rose quartz stimulates the immune system and circulation to bring the skin to harmony. A good rose quartz infused oil-free hydrating cream regulates moisture without leaving a greasy feel behind.

Rock crystal

This is a fantastic gemstone for exfoliation, which is key to keeping that hydrated fresh glow. When you exfoliate regularly, it helps maintain a level of moisture that will keep your skin looking supple and youthful.

How to Hydrate Skin with Gemstones

From makeup to facial massages, there are several ways to incorporate gemstone into your skincare routine.

  • A crystal infused facial oil mist: If you have crystals at home, a crystal infused facial mist is a great option. Lay your crystals in a bowl of purified water and let them charge the water, preferably overnight, or for several hours in the sun. Mix that water with jojoba and an essential oil of your choosing, then gently mist your face after cleansing, to add moisture and for a fresh feel.  It is important to know that some gemstones become toxic or disintegrate in water. So do your research in order to pick the right one.
  • Use in facial massage: Smooth amethysts and rose quartz are purifying crystals. A gentle massage with amethyst and rose quartz can help to improve circulation and help you sparkle.
  • Skincare products: Skincare products infused with gemstones are the easiest way to ensure that your face is hydrated and beautiful.

Which Are the Top 3 Reasons to Use Concealer?

Concealer. Once you meet it, you’ll never part ways with it again. It is commonly used in order to cover the dark under eye circles spots of redness, pigmentation spots and many other areas that a foundation isn’t capable of hiding. There are different types of concealer, which include hard or creamy consistency, with regular or brush applicator, and in a stick, jar, or tube. Make you choice and continuously experiment until you know what you desire. Once you already have the perfect concealer for you, here are 3 reasons to use concealer.

3 Reasons to Use Concealer

#1 Covering Under-Eye Circles

Whether you use a stick or liquid form concealer, you need to take into account your skin shade as well as the tone of your under-eye circles.

Color concealers can be a good way to offset and better camouflage the color of your under-eye circles. When selecting a color concealer’s tone, remember that it should be the direct opposite of your under-eye circles’ tone. For example, if your under-eye skin tone looks purple, you should find a beauty concealer with yellow tones; for brown circles, a purple or blue concealer is the best bet; for blue circles, use orange-toned concealers, and for red under-eye skin tone, use olive- or green-toned concealer. You can also ask the salesperson for a help if you’re not sure what to buy. If you don’t want to use a color concealer, you can just use a flesh-toned concealer that has a lighter shade than your skin. This way, the area around your eyes will be brightened and give you a fresh appearance.

When applying concealer, gently dab a small amount on your skin, starting from inside going out, using your ring finger. Afterwards, blend it thoroughly to make it look invisible and smooth.

#2 Covering Dark Spots and Moles

When using concealer to cover dark spots or moles, use only a small amount and individually focus on each problem area. Use a stick concealer that has a shade that will match your skin tone. The principle “less is more”, is applicable here—you apply less to get much more results. If you will apply too much concealer on a single area, it can look very obvious and cakey. Using your finger, dab a small amount in mole’s center—enough to conceal the spot—then let it dry. Finish up by applying face powder.

#3 Cover Red Spots and Blemishes

When covering red spots and blemishes, use a concealer shade that’s an exact match for your skin tone. To cover the pimples, using a stick concealer is enough. The key is using small amounts to directly and carefully apply to the blemish. Blend the edges with a small flat brush, then let it dry for a few minutes. If necessary, apply another layer to cover it completely, then finish with a beauty face power. For skin redness, you can use a stick or creamy concealer and spread it on the area in a thin layer, then let it dry for a few minutes. If the redness is still visible, apply another coating and finish it with a face powder.
